Maarten is a composer based in The Netherlands. He is best known for his adventurous orchestral music, such as his score for The Seven of Daran: The Battle of Pareo Rock, directed by Lourens Blok, for which he received a Dutch Gouden Kalf nomination for Best Music. Maarten also scored a number of the popular films based on the Carry Slee books, including Lover or Loser and Razend.
